September Launch: The Rise To The Top Season #2 Will Rock Your World

Once again, thank you for taking the time to tune in and I will see you on the air on September 6th (and on the blog of course before then).

Is It Better To Learn From Success Or Failure?

twitter-fail-whaleA quick question. Would you rather learn what to do or what NOT to do? Does failure hit home more than success?

It seems every entrepreneur has a story of brutal failure. A company went way over budget, disaster struck at every corner, the secretary was hit by a train (OK, grim example)…you get the point.

On the other side of the entrepreneurial coin, you rarely fine a success story that doesn’t include some kind of failure. The rare stories that don’t include a struggle are often the extreme rare exception as opposed to the rule.
Speaking of stories…

The upcoming season of The Rise To The Top is going to be a little different to really add value to all of you. Each episode will feature a business-celebrity as I call them. Big names and big lessons of success and failure. We will be digging deep, asking the tough questions and having some fun (business will NOT be boring after we are done with it). Also, you will hear from some not-quite-yet-known entrepreneurs with big knowledge, ambition and crazy stories of their own. Oh, and we will have plenty of tips for you as well from Building Your Business Online (myself and Adam Kreitman with tips even for the least techy) to Marketing 2.0 and many more ideas, trends and useful ideas you can use right away.

So, the question to you. Is it better to learn from success or failure?

PS: In St. Louis? I’ve been fortunate to be selected as the first male speaker ever for eWomenNetwork on Friday, August 14th and I’ll be talking about generating buzz for your biz including creating  unique word-of-mouth campaigns and grabbing press attention. You can find out the details right here.
